Иезуиты в библии

Я пока не понял, как трактовать эту находку, однако не хочу проходить мимо и потому обращаю на неё внимание всех интересующихся…

 

Если вы откроете библию в Синодальном переводе, то по адресу Числа 26:44 прочитаете буквально следующее:

 

Сыны Асировы по поколениям их: от Имны поколение Имнино, от Ишвы поколение Ишвино, от Верии поколение Вериино; 

 

Если заглянуть практически в любой перевод этого же места на английский, то мы прочтём:

 

New International Version – The descendants of Asher by their clans were: through Imnah, the Imnite clan; through Ishvi, the Ishvite clan; through Beriah, the Beriite clan;

 

New Living Translation – These were the clans descended from the sons of Asher: The Imnite clan, named after their ancestor Imnah. The Ishvite clan, named after their ancestor Ishvi. The Beriite clan, named after their ancestor Beriah.

 

English Standard Version – The sons of Asher according to their clans: of Imnah, the clan of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the clan of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the clan of the Beriites.

 

New American Standard Bible – The sons of Asher according to their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.

 

И только в знаменитой версии перевода «короля Джеймса» 1611 года мы с удивлением читаем:

 

King James Bible - Of the children of Asher after their families: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites: of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites: of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.

 

И поэтому у меня возникает вопрос: в честь кого не то в 1534, не то в 1540 году был учреждён изменивший ход мировой истории орден иезуитов – в честь Иисуса или в честь Ишвы?..
